Smackdown Tourney, AFAX and more baseball

iMp taking part in the local HoN Smackdown tournament at Levelup Cybercafe!

Located at Sims Avenue, we actually got to see some familiar faces, competitors, admins or audience alike. Nostalgic i'd say...

Regardless, after plenty of intensive games, iMp manages to clinch the title!

Naturally, the prize money will go into the CPF(Capell's Provident Funds) for the team's future baseball usage.

Many thanks to Check and Nicholas for their presence, DivinePanda for playing 2 games as our sub, as well as Garena and LevelUp Cybercafe for holding this tourney!

Just a heads up, iMp, under my behest, will be attending the Anime Festival Asia 2010(AFAX). What is that you say?

I'll save us the trouble and paste this for your convenience...
Anime Festival Asia is to us more than just a convention. It really is at the heart - an experiential platform. Countless time, energy and huge investments have been put in to plan and craft the experience of every single attendee who will be walking through the doors of the festival. To us, every bit of interaction with every part of the exclusive content we have for our attendees is really the result of months of careful planning by the committee. For AFA X, we are looking to create great value by providing the ultimate J-POP Culture experience for our attendees.”

So regardless if you're an otaku, anime, manga, anison, hentai, seiyu, bl, maid, doujin or baseball fan, do come join us!

Tips to identify us

If you see a group of people cosplaying as baseball players, you know that's us.

If you see someone playing catch, you know that's me.

If you see someone pitching, you know that's my BFF.

If you see us holding hands, you know we're a battery(couple). We're gonna win the regional cosplay championship for the team yeh! Girls(fujoshi) do vote for us yea!! (^.^)b

If you see someone dressing up as Ophelia(HON MASCOT OMG), you know that's our coach.

Anyways, located at suntec convention centre, it'll be held on the 13/14th of November 2010, admission isn't free but it isn't expensive either. 7 bucks for a regular ticket.

Catch ya people at the event, and as usual, stay tuned for more baseball HoN updates!
